GlyoxalIt is most widely used as a cross-linking agent for the resins for textiles, leathers and papers, for water soluble polymers such as carboxy methyl cellulose and cellulose ethers, for H2S scavenger in oil & gas fields. It is also used as intermediate for pharmaceuticals and pesticides.
